Just wanted to share that I acquired a Falcon 50 from a friend that he hovered ONCE over a year ago. I took this baby and looked over the bird, set it up in my radio and took it up for a quick few flights...

WOW!! this is a super stable ship and has much better overall response and better characteristics than most of all the 50's out there! Tracked perfect and seems like when I get the OS 50 broken in I could have a scalded dog on my hands!!

I am shocked! Many more folks should take a ride with this one! I gurantee the Raptor (AND OTHER 50 HELIS) sales will diminish.

Anyway - would love to get a carbon frame with this to make it 3D ready. that's the only issue I see. I will not train on anything else right now - I can see this being my primary training helicopter for a while.

Anyway, MHO - just wanted to share since the weather is bad and cold here.

hi CopE, I'm glad you like the Falcon, do you know what Falcon it is SEv1, SEv2 ???,,,, I have a SEv2 with a Hyper 50 and Weston t-pipe, it's as fast as a 70 machine with that pipe on 20%, the Falcon is quite stable that's for sure, but Century makes some special long balls just for the flybar-cradle that will help speed up your cyclic some (if that's what you want), these longer balls do not overly speed-up the cyclic so you may want to try them (these balls have longer threads also), and Century now makes (red) hard dampeners you may want to try, the harder dampeners really lock in the head, tracking is much better if you can believe it, like flying on rails,,, but if you want a real 3D monster it's the Raven 50 eCCPM conversion that you may want,,, again~ I'm glad you like your Falcon, good luck with it.

Ahhh, my old Falcon...

Went through a lot with it. Glad your are enjoying it as I did.

After enduring my 3D for the best part of two years, now it is retired inside a beautiful Agusta fuse.

The best!

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.
