Guys,
I bought these really nice TT PV0339 metal rotor grips and have run into some problems.

First things first is I could not get the bearings out to grease them (assembled from TT). So I just took a Q-tip and swiped some silicon grease in there as best I could.

Will this suffice for greasing? They are pressed in so hard and I do not want to ruin the bearings.

Second and probaly the most disturbing is that when I completely got eveything assembled and the blades on, moving the collective servo only adjusts one blade grip. It is almost like one is stuck! I took it apart and it seems to turn OK. I am not sure why it would do that? To much grease? To much friction because I am using the Flap collar(washer that goes between blue dampner and blade grip bearing).

So then I try holding the one that motions correctly, stop it then when working the collective servo the one that was stuck works! WTF!

Need some help!

Thanks,
John

Cool. Got the grips in the oven right now.

I thought it was strange because my plastics did not do this. Maybe the metal are different. I sure as hell hope that they would both work in flight!

When I twist them manually them seem fine/free? Well I will try that.

Make sure you lube the spindle and dampeners too.
