I am curious how many people use this engine.

I have one in my Raptor and like it so far. It has about 1 gallon through and it has plenty power for hovering (my skills don't allow me to test it further).

How long does it usually last? Well, probably the engine will outlast the heli due to an unplanned contact with the groung.

Did you have any problems with it after running it for a while?

Thanks.

So, I guess nobody else on here uses this engine.

Webra is a good engine
a webra sixty was my first heli engine no problems
except the carb setting can be a little fussy with temperature
and humidity changes

I had a Webra 36 GTH in my Raptor. I first had an OS 32 in the Rappy and when I replaced it with the Webra 36 GTH, I noticed a definite increase in power. I have since replaced it with an OS 50 SXH.

Take your time to break in the Webra. Use about two gallons and run it rich. It is a great engine and will last for a long time if run properly. I love Webras - I have a Webra 91 in my large Robbe Cuatro and it puts my OS 91 and YS 91 to shame!

Only issue is that the GTH has no ring, when the piston is worn out you have to replace the piston, ring and sleeve as a unit - which is quite expensive. If you you could buy the engine without a carb that would almost be more cost effective.

Certainly, the Webra do seem to deliver solid power...

Jafa,

Probably the heli will not last as long as the piston in the engine due to an unplanned contact with the ground And then will be a good time to upgrade to a bigger one.

Yikes, don't think like that
it would be great if you did actually wear it out

But it is true that people grow out of the 30 class rather quickly.
