Hi All

I have a Revlock on an OS50 Hyper (1.5 Gallons). It opeerates a JR 811 digital servo, with Remote mode selected for RPM Control.

I've set the Revlock for Digital Servo mode.

When its engaged, the Headspeed ramps up and down, we have set the sensitivity to min and it still ramps.

Question are

1) Should the Revlock be set for Normal Servo (as digital mode maybe for 92524 etc servo's)?

or

2) The engine still needs tuning (15 Turns out).

Thanks Steve

PS Off my training gear today.

Digital or super servo should be set to DS mode.
The engine still needs tuning (15 Turns out).
Is that a typo, or are you sure it is 15 turns out ?? If so then that is a major part to play in it not working properly.

Ryan.

Thanks Dokey

Fat fingers, missed the '.' Should of been 1.5

I'll leave it on Digital Servo then, bit more running in.

The engine stays constant when Gov turned off, turn it on and it does the ramping.

Need to learn more on tuning from the lads then

the revlock isn't very tolerant of a rich running engine.

in almost every case, an engine that is 'governed' will need to
be leaned out on the needles vs. non-governed.

i have been running RevLock with JR811, OS50 Hyper, and MP2 without any problems. Have my RevLock set for digital servo mode.

Going to switch the JR811 with a Futaba S9254 to see if it makes any difference. Have a 9254 laying around doing nothing.
