Greetings all,

Can someone please shed some light on how best to set up the throtle linkage on the Century Bell 47 GII?

I have almost finished building. The machine looks fantastic and I'm keen to get my first scale heli airborne! However, I am having trouble with the throtle linkage . I have built the heli with the optional side frames...the problem is that one of the side frame verticals is fouling the carburettor arm.

Is there an easy (throtle extension etc) solution to my problem or do I have to be "creative" and manufacture my own "Z" type pushrod (the push rod I received in the kit is straight). If do have to manufacture a "Z" bend linkage is it possible to have a description of what it should look like?

I suspect that I am not the first person to try to overcome this problem ? Any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated.

regards and thanks

Foxbat,

I note you are from Australia. Did you purchase your kit from an Australian dealer, a USA dealer or a Canadian dealer?

Do you have pictures of your throttle linkage that shows both the servo arm and throttle arms at full throttle, half throttle and idle throttle?

Using the stock and accessory components you should experiance no interference from any of the scale parts if set up properly.

Dear Jim,

thank you for your reply.

I purchased the kit ex USA and had it mailed over. It has also been built "stock standard" straight out of the box.

I currently do not have the capability to take and post pictures but I ...will have a closer (and more critical look) look at set up in the light of your comments.

...will let you know how I get on.

regards

Rodd

foxbat,

May I suggest that you contact Century USA. They should have someone there that can help you.
