I agree, everyday someone comes in here and asks the most basic questions that have been answered over and over. It would be nice if RunRyder could actually make the search feature work properly. Have you ever used it. I wonder why its so useless? I just did a search on "what motor to use" and specfied the Align forum, it returned everything but the kitchen sink. Some aspects of this BB are a joke. Why are there no sticky threads or commonly asked question threads. I think they need to learn to use the BB software. But they are really good at closing posts and editing threads so I guess you cant ask for everything.

geez guys, someone has to ask those questions for them to show up in the search function. I'm sure at one point everyone has had those questions, I know I have and I was glad someone took the time to answer them regardless of how basic or common they were.

Im not saying not to help newbies. It does seem like they walk in the room and say hey where do I find the Exit. Without even seeing the big illimunated sign right in front of them. When I go to a BB to ask a general question I use the seach feature first. That way when I go to post I have some facts to help ask better questions. It wouldnt hurt if we let some newbies in on this little trick. Its not that we dont want to help. It much easier to help someone that already knows how to help themselves.

There are also alot of people who are not computer savvy. "What's the "search" for? How do I post? How do I upload pictures? What's boolean search". I guess alot of the same questions are asked by these certain individuals. I wouldn't blame them. I would help them out or direct them to another thread. The tools maybe right under their nose, but just don't know how to use them. Maybe Runryder should have an Runryder education section.

If its a simple question I will answer it then tell them to use the search function at the top of the forum, for more info.Dont forget most of these people are first time fliers and really probally never been in these types of forums before, and it takes a little practice to learn there way around here. For example I will tell people to go to runryder all the time when they just buy there first heli.
