my local hobby shop has started stocking the t-rex and is interested in knowing if the e-flite 400 4200kv brushless motor will perform well in the t-rex? has anyone else tried it and with what results? thanks

E 400 Motor
The Rex is a heavy chopper. The E 400 would be marginal in it. You would need a motor that has more torque.

Why panic...It's going to crash anyway

I have one eflight 4200 here...hmm I have a crappy pic..

that is a small chunk of the magnet inside. I was doing the initial hover in new heli and motor seized in flight. I since put a knock off 4200 in and am quite happy with the performance. I am no 3d flier, but it seems to have a lot of power to me.
