I ran a batch of my spare Trex parts through a dye bath a couple of days ago. The dyeing process took about 20 minutes. Worked great...Navy Blue:

ok..
yes i passed on the navy, thinking it would turn out too dark... (for my taste anyways)....

i went with the royal blue, which left anything originally white looking almost purplish, and anything grey looking quite dark blue, whereas your photos look almost black and its difficult to detect the blue color in the lightening... i then went with some other parts in scarlet red, which turned anything originally grey into a dark maroon, and anything originally white into an almost, cranberry color...

the coolest of all though was dying the 3k 'faux' carbon parts, the scarlett red makes them look more convincingly 'carbon fiber', with a transparent dark red mask over them.... pretty cool looking, did a whole 3k frame, paddles, rudders, stabilizers, did the servo trays and all the ball links and mixing arms/levers on the head, and the tail case, now have a maroon/3k maroon looking heli, a nice change... dipped the already blue parts in the red which effectively turned them black, which is always cool too.

how dark is your navy, can you really see the blue in the daylight i would assume?
