are you looking for a applied finish like antiquing paint
or baked on like copper enameling?

I think the finish is baked on.

Thanks for the links Ted.

The baked on like copper enameling isn't what this finish is, but I am going to try it out just to see what I can do with it, I think it will be cool to try it out on some of my artwork.

The finish in the top picture is almost printed onto the metal and is repeatable; both sides are different color sets.

the finish on the bottom is like a wash or something that has ran down the metal and then has a clear coat applied on top of it.
