I Have a 50 se + hyper

is the stock gearing ideal for high head speed.
I am aiming to achieve 2000rpm
I read somewhere that the gearing can be changed.
What purpose is this for will it help me achieve the high head speed.
The set up I have seems to leave the engine struggling or over reving.
Also take into consideration the power band of the engine?
Change the gearing?
To what?

The stock gearing will take you there...I don't know of anyone going past 2000 rpm on a Raptor 50.

If you want to regulate it get a Governor; I hope you're running a metal head block .

I know someone that is using 2100 on a R50 (metal head etc), to extremely good effect, very smooth running.
But even though it seems to run well, I wouldn't recommend it

Upgrade the gear ratio ? You can only change to and from the 50 and 30 gearing.

Ryan.
