mine runs very cool
I run 30% CP
higher nitro can run cooler
are you sure you are not too lean?
try a richer setting and see where you loose power this
may help

How about some info on the set up, or just tell us you are having trouble and we will tell you the fix even if we don't know the problem. You need to give some info how old is the engine, has it been running ok until this problem, plug, fuel, how old is the pipe, what did you last change, how old are the fuel lines, how experienced are you, and ect. The pitch curves, is it getting hot hovering, or flying around? Chris

What brand of glow plug are you using, pitch curve in degrees at blades, is the fuel a castor oil mix? How many turns open are your needles? When did it start acting up, just recently, or has it been trouble from the start? When you say you richen the motor and no good how many clicks are you going? What is your headspeed? Chris

My 37 runs super cool with an OS#8 plug and CoolPower 30%. Have you tried a different fuel? Maybe that's the problem. One with higher nitro will run cooler.

Something else to try, turn the high speed needle in the whole way and let us know how far out you've been running it. If richening the needle doesn't solve the problem, try removing the needle to make sure you didn't get any junk in the carb. Flush it out with fuel.
Sorry we can't give you the magic answer.

Blowing plugs is a sign of one thing. The engine is running too lean. It may make loads of power on 10% but it's running lean to do it.

A couple of your choices are to change fuels or richen up the needle. The other choice it to replace the engine and if you keep on running it lean you will have every opportunity to do that.

I would pull the muffler off and have a look at the piston. I have a feeling it is getting toasty.

Need more info about the fuel. 10% shouldn't be a problem, but the oil content is extremely important for engine cooling.

If the fuel contains less than 18% oil, then you'll need to run richer to maintain the proper engine temp. Since it's 10% nitro, that will result in less power.

I recommend that you try a name-brand 15% Heli fuel (coolpower, wildcat, etc.). Also, remove the needle and check for debris. Clean the fuel filter. It could be that there is some blockage in the fuel system causing the engine to run lean at that needle setting.
