Hi,

Done a search but got many different answers.

What settings do I need for the CC35 I'm using the usb link and TP2100's 13pinion and 100% throttle.

I seem to have a low headspeed, feels very slugish no go in it.

Any ideas please

Simon.

Mega Settings
Try this.
13 tooth pinion
High Governor Mode
Soft Start
Soft Cutoff
Brake Disabled
Timing Standard
9 Volt Cutoff
Current Limiting Disabled
PWM Frequency Standard

Castle Creations says Current Limiting is too slow to protect the ESC if you get a huge power spike which we get flying Helis.

Ok tried that with 90% throttle and it wouldn't even get of the floor at 100% lift off, just no climb rate at all

ditch the govenor and use fixed or auto calibrating and throttle curves.

High timing mode will also increase the power of it as well.

Forget about Auto Calibrating! That is not for Helis! Governor High Mode works fine with the Mega. Do set your End Points to 100%.

Where do you get this from?

Read the instructions that came with the ESC. Auto Calibrating only detects full throttle when the stick is full up. It needs to calibrate every time you turn on the Rx and ESC. Look under 9.4, Throttle Settings, in the CC35 setup instructions.

Hi,

I tried using the V1.021 software instead of the V1.11 with these settings

Cut off Votage - 4.0V
Cut Off type - Soft
Brake - Disabled
Gov high
Soft start
Motor timing - standard
Current - Intensive
Freq - 11khz

Headspeed was loads higher than the another version software, will test it properly later.

If it's fixed it how do I remove version 1.11 from my pc ? because everytime I am plugging my usb in it say eror newer version availble do I want to updat it - NO I don't and resets all my settings ?

Gone back to later version software V1.11 with these settings

9v cutoff
Soft cutoff
Disabled
Gov high
Soft start
Standard timing
Current disabled
Freq 22khz (I don't have the option for 13khz which people are using ?)

Using 305mm wood blades and +/- 9

This seems to be ok probably could do with bit more pitch.

90% throttle it feels abit slow probably ok for circuits but 95% seem loads better.

Does this seem ok, any suggestions

Simon.

Looks okay to me. I am surprised you do not have the 13 Freq though.

Got some flying in with later today, quite nippy when it gets going in the circuits, found I had to be quick on the controls

Did some loops, I don't think it like them much seem to struggle a bit, runs out of steam going up into it then it turns from a loop into a flip

But a fun heli for zipping around with
