Ok,
Got my Trex yesterday afternoon and built it last night,
very simple and all looking good so far,
I bought 3 x HS 56's for cyclic and collective,
how are you guys fitting them?
The frames are designed with the align servos in mind using one hole,

Is it accepted just to ignor the single hole and drill 2 holes either side?
also what about anti vibration mounting rubber grommets? my servos didnt come with any, what are you using between the servo lugs and frames if anything at all?

Thanks

Tony

On mine I just drilled the holes. Never used the grommits either. I don`t think you need them.

How did THAT get in there?

Seems like the servo will be prone to a lot of vibration,
so this is the prefered way to mount them?
nobody had any problems doing this?

I drilled the holes in the center of the servo to match the reinforcement on the chasis. Works great.

Has anybody had the HS56HB jittering on them. I have one right now doing it.

I have checked it with another channel etc., did all the normal checking.

It will jitter with or without the motor running and it's the only one doing it regardless which channel it is plugged into.

Hi Tony
Just got mine flying today
I'm useing hs56's and did cut off the tabs and drilled a single hole in the servo to match the reinforced holes in the frame. Also did the gyro under the frames thing.
