On my Dyna the main gear S4810 rubs at the bottom when It is installed and if I turn the bottom bearing ove it rubs at the top. What am I doing wrong? Should I shim it,or cut away from the frame? Anyone else have his?

Thanks
Jeff

Hey guys where do you get the Dyna-x conversion? Is there a USA importer or will I have to go over seas? (like Canada )

Thanks,

John

No sleep
It seems that you don't sleep much either. I really appreciate your help
and am sure the rest of the Robbe/Dyna guys do as well.

Shim
Bigbuster

some of the kit need to have the special Shim, if you need it, let me know.

Ade, we changed lately the kits by adjusting some parts so some of kits wil not need the shim any more.

Alex..I just bought a used Dyna-X frameset (which I have just flown..very nice I might add!!!)

It has the double bearing start block fitted

I had a minor rubbing of the maingear although I could not actually work out exactly where. The bottom of maingear sits very very close to the lower edge of the opening in the bearing block (where the pinion is)

I also noticed the maingear is not located centrally in the frames & sits quite low. The tail drive pinion also sits very low in the boom..although I can just get a good mesh.

Do you think I require the shim? and If so does it just sit ontop of the lower mainshaft bearing?

I can e-mail you a picture if you wish so you can see how close it all is

thanks
