I saw this Macs Heli Muffler for OS32 engines on Tower Hobbies website:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...p?&I=LXWP31&P=7

Will it work with a Caliber 30 and if so, has anyone tried it? Opinions? What are some other aftermarket mufflers for the Caliber? I'm putting together an additional heli I bought from someone which doesn't have a muffler assembly and thought I would try something other than a stock muffler. Thanks

The Tower site is acting pretty anal right now, so I can't see what you're looking at...

however, the KSJ Competition 30 would do very well...

The stock muffler works pretty well with the OS32. I've drilled holes in the baffle to let it breathe better, didn't make much difference in noise, and a little boost in power, though not much.

I'm running the stock, yet tuned, Toki 40 muff on mine. Got alittle more power out of it with alittle gain in db.

Well, the Tower site seems to be behaving a lot better now. That's the first time I've ever seen that muffler, and I've never heard of anyone using it. That's either because it:

1. is new on the market (don't know the answer to this one)
2. has been out a long time and no one has known about it
3 has been on the market and people DO know about it, and know to avoid it.

Can't help you with this specific muffler.

Of course, you could spring for $34 and let us all know.....
