Hi

I'm trying to take the TR shaft out of the case (as it's broken), but i cant get that little pin out of the pulley. I took an allen wrench, put it over the pin and tried to gently hammer it out..didnt work.

any other ideas??

And how do i take the TR hub off the shaft??

thanks

There is a setscrew in the end of the shaft that holds that pin in. You will need to loosen that setscrew first, then the pin should come right out

Only problem with that is there's no set screw...

This is the V1 if that makes any difference..

you should be able to tap it out (ie. get bigger hammer )

if not, the pulley (PV0029) is only a few dollars to replace.

Yep, you'll have to beat it out of there. Or, even better is to get a new shaft with the setscrew and a new pulley and bin the rest

I also tought about just scrapping the pulley, but the pitch slider is also on the shaft, and i dont want to start replacing perfectly fine parts cuz it does start to add up..

how hard is it to cut the shaft with a dremel??

the slider is on the shaft?

you said the shaft was broken.

what about disassembling things until you just have
the shaft/pulley as a unit am I not understanding?

No, the TR case is broken.

The shaft is in one peice. I cant get the TR hub off either...I wasnt the one who built this heli, so i dont know exactly how it was put together.

There is a picture in my gallery, but i'll see if i can get a better angle of it.
