Im glad the TP is progressing there battery technology. Im sure everyone will agree that the one thorn in our side with this hobby is the cost of batteries. Why would anyone want to pay even more? I dont care if gives me 1 extra min of flight time with more kick at the end of the pack. Im not paying a premium for a TP 2000 pro pack $85 when I can now get the TP 2100's for around $66. Besides the TP 2100 is rated at (21-25A/32A) My T-Rex cant pull more then 21 amps no matter what motor I have tried. I think the fact that they came out with a new series is great like I said before. Now there older series has dropped in price becuase of it. Now maybe the average electric flyer can afford more then 1 battery to go with there hobby.

I have 3 TP2100 packs, love them all, problem I have is the 2 crashes (electrical failures) both resulted in the front battery tray being ripped of the frame. I'm really not happy about replacing the frame each time this thing goes down. I use velcro and there is no way the battery would ever come off without the frame too. Maybe I should make it ejectable? I don't want to move the battery, my CG is perfect right now.

This has made all the difference in the world for me. I have never been happier with my setup. Maybe this can help some people protect the battery. This is what I did. I just took an old broken frame and reused the battery tray. Oops I just realized you cant do this to a stock setup. Only eCCPM setups can try this. Oh well maybe it can help someone come up with an idea for a stock setup. By the way all the Carbon Fiber I used is from picking up some .50 or .90 sized blades out of the trash and cutting off what I need. I probably could have built an entire CF battery tray if I wanted to.

A couple of question.
I can figure the Pro Lite 4S can fit in the original conopy and stock TRex.

we all just need a vecro. Right?

Can someone who has it tell me how different (performance, volt draw, duration) that Pro Lite from TP G2 2100mAH? Sorry I repeat the same question. but .... just want to be clear.

Another question is:

How about 4s thing. I have a fully Stock TRex:

CC25A ESC,
Align 400L Motor
GWS 6ch RX,
Eclipse 7 with Spectra Module
I was flying only just sport. But recently I got ESC cutoff. It wasn't happenng at all until the last flight.

Do you think if I switch the CC25A to Align 35a wll solve that cutout thing. I won't fly 3d (not qualified anyways) apart from some nice Fig 8. Not even circle.

thanks.

Your Practice and Patience only succeeds!
