i would break it in with something like a 11/6 or 12/5 prop, whats your head speed on the heli? if your above 1600 then somethings bent or out of balance with the heli its self. sounds like your needles are set too rich to me if you dont have any top end power, what pitches are you running?

how'd the ground come up like that ?

Per the prop charts they recommend an 11x6 for a break-in on a 50 size engine. I just got an 11x6 prop, but haven't had a chance to break it in yet.

Yes you can use a remote glow. I have the hyper in my rappy and broke it in there, it flew fine with 3 turns out on the needle, almost as much power as my TT50 leaned out. I have about 3 gallons through it and down to about 2.25 turns out, the power is starting to look real good. I don't think you need to break this motor in on a bench at all. Just start out real rich and lean it in about a half a turn for every gallon you run through it.

Ignorance is curable, stupidity is for life.

Bolt it in the heli and go fly it. There is no prop driver on the engine, so good luck mounting a prop.
