hi all,

does anyone know of suitable proper carbon blades for the Rex, ie not the Align ones. i know SAB do some for the Zoom/Shogun but i think these would be too small.

The 305 is for the standard boom length and the 320 is for the stretched boom. If you've got one of the better powerplants, get the 320s and a stretch kit.

I have the MS 280s now on my Rexi and they fly very nice - better than the woodies. They are very light so the heli might become less stable, but that can be easily fixed using some Dubro wheel colars on the flybar ends.

BTW can't the SAB 320s be used with the stock lenght boom? With stock boom and Aign CFs (325mm) the main and tail blades can touch if you pull one toward the other. The SABs are 5mm shorter so they should clear each other fine as that is how I hope to use mine.

SAB also makes 280mm for the zoom which would also work fine for the TREX if you dont mind the shorter length. Dnam says the MS 280's work out fine so im sure the SAB 280's would also work fine.

Align measures the blade from the root to the tip.
All other blade makers measure from the bolt hole to the tip, a difference of about 10mm.
So Align's 325's are only about 315's.
