Hello all,

I have just bought an Esky 3d, and I am trying to set the thing up

When I connect the battery, the LED on the reciever/gyro/speed controller flashes red, then goes green, & then flashes red/green. Does anyone know what this means? - as the manual does not say anywhere The servos and motors will not function in this state either.

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers
Russ

Make sure your throttle is on the lowest position, otherwise it will not work

Esky has security set up so if the throttle is not idle, it will not start

usually the green light will come steady, then its mean its ready

Also make sure the "3D" switch is off and like RCMarket said, throttle should be at lowest position.

just a few questions to help my friend...
which way should the switch be in normal mode.forward or backward(assuming you are looking from the top)
second, when starting up,should the throttle trim be all the way down?

With the switch forward you are in normal mode. With it back then you are in idle mode. the trims should be in between midway and the bottom. This is so that the esc know that you are in the lowest throttle setting. The motor will not spin up if you plug in your batt with the trim in the middle.
