I have been hearing rumors that the 3d pro does not auto-rotate very well? I believe it is due to the driven tail in combination with the low-inertia blades. But then again, how does the hornet (cp) auto? It also has a driven tail, but I have seen videos where it autos fine.

Happy flyin!!

Hey,

Don't forget most people are still using the stock wooden blades on their PRO's which will not be very good at auto's.

Once Rotor Tech or similar release dedicated carbon PRO blades it will help.

Hi

Can't help with the 3D Pro but the Hornet 2 and Hornet X 3D both auto fine with the weighted MS blades which have been standard for a while, there is not a lot to spare but I don't think any micro will have much left at the bottom.

Cheers

Its the ~ABEC 1 quality bearings more than anything. Way too much friction for free spinning, it even overcomes the inertia.
