ive just rebuilt my rappy 50 but chose wooden blades over carbon this time to keep costs down.i tried a few baby autos to test the reserve and found it to be lacking.how different will a set of blades be for this manuvre?
i was getting pretty good at autos with my carbons but they disagreed with a tree

A pair of CF blades will auto better, due to the extra inertia in the blades.

A set of carbon blades will make a difference. That being said, the wood blades will auto just fine. You just have less room for error at the bottom, the CF blades carry more inertia into the flare.

Everything is relative.

Compared to the old 30 with carbon blades, My Raptor 50 with the original woodies will float down like a feather.

the woodies auto just fine, i never buy the carbons cause of the price, and the woodies do auto's and inverted very well.
