if my throttle curve is not set just right does the TJ pro care?

not generally but if your throttle curve is too far out it can lead to problems engaging and disengaging.. but lets say you have a linear throttle curve and to be accurate you need to put a bow in it to get proper rpm.. If you calibrate the TJ properly it will work as advertised unless the difference is way off.. A good practice though is to properly setup your throttle curves, install the TJ, calibrate and setup the TJ. It just makes life easier.. usually what I do after setting up my TJ is go back to the throttle curve and bump them up all around just a little that way I will be aware or at least have some idea something let go if the TJ ever quits working

thanks. if the TJ does stop working for whatever reason will the curve take over or will I need to flip the switch?

If the TJ lets go the curve takes over... thats why I raise my curve just a bit so I can tell the difference. It has only happened once tho the TJ although abrupt at bringing back the power is a very stable and good governor
