Having spoken to Ka-Man, it didnt entirely sound like intereference because the engine apparently didnt go to fail safe. But it was odd occurence, with the tail not responding correctly in a stall turn, then it happened on the loop. Life really can be a bitch sometimes, I guess we take a risk everytime we fly, and we try to lessen those risks.

Bad luck Ka-Man, hope you get a new one soon.

Sorry to hear about your crash. It doesn't look that bad at all. Looks like only minor damage to me? Let us know how it goes with the rebuild?

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Oh, you mean it's not the crashed Eagle 3 in your gallery? The pictures in there aren't bad of a crash.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

sad
sux well as long as the VPUS is not damaged, it can be rebuilt and it would have to be flying full speed into hard concrete to **** that part up

Maybe copilot is in order for such an expensive machine hehe

Sorry to hear that, think of changing to 'Avant' with the remaining parts instead of fixing it. Time taken to get set a crashed heli back to a max. 80% condition heli might not worth it. Fuel consumption add time consumption, the cost might end up to buy a new one.
What is the actual caused of the crashed anyway? Battery failure? or anything else

heh
i doubt changing an eagle 3 to an avant is such a great idea...I think it would cost more...$500 for the kit plus all the other parts that probably got damaged....

Unfortunately the WHOLE bird is a write off, EVERYTHING forward of the tail boom mount is trashed, all the servos, reciever and 601 boxes were all burst open. Engine is buggered, and the frames are split front to rear.

No its not worth making an AVANT out of it, but he is going to use the nicer bits on a basic Freya, which will be used for practice from now on.

The crash pictures in his gallery are from his first attempt to kill it :P sorry K-Man had to say it hehe.

Just have to save up for a new one, and arent you glad you have not put it in the black shark yet?

whoa
Was he flying over concrete? I have slammed a shuttle plus into a wall at medium speed, and even that was repairable...

Nope went into a slightly muddy field, apparently there was different coulored mud/muck. And there are pictures of it splattered all over heli, now a multi coloured mud scuplture.

It was the speed at impact that did it, he was half way through the loop. The speed at the vertical part is fairly high, so when he lost control at that point it was going to do some damage.

Oh well, it happens.

I won't give up for F3C.....
What i thinking of now is....

Keep all the past's which is still good condition from Crash E3
and buy a lot of basic freya past's make it two in one..(I think the rotor head,Metal Control Lever,Tail,Tank, gear, oneway bearing, engine, muffler
Carbon Friber Fins,Metal Swashplate, Washout Set,is easy to fix.

And I will buy a band new Eagle3 with black shark III As soon as i can(that is only for compition)
