I was at a local flying site today, had 3 flights on my rappy all with great success. Then on the fourth I just performed a wall of death and low and behold I got a boom strike on pull out.... See pics below, its cost me a set of blades, carbon tail boom, landing gear,
feathering spindle, carbon tail push rod, flybar, couple of push rod connectors and a gear set in my 9254 on the tail! Gutted

Hi Guys,

I agree it could have been a hell of a lot worse, my last crash killed all my side frames did the gyro in too.... So i'll be off to Quick UK this morning to grab a couple of bits and she'll be back in the air for the weekend.

S76 Mech

I got the graphics set from Trevor at Midland Helicopters in the Uk. There website is http://www.modelhelicopters.co.uk

Has anyone else suffered a boom strike while doing wall of deaths??!?

Hutch964 , here on RR makes vinyl graphics in flourescent colors and any patterns for the raptors.
Just contact him and he'll take care of you.
He is making some for me right now. He will make them, put them on and ship to you. He will also supply the canopy. Or, you can send him your canopy.
Here is his e-mail

Thats the Revo 3D Mini, and yes its awesome... I have a small axi brushless motor installed in it and its got unlimited vertical performance. Its the easiest plane to prop hang i've ever flown.

As for being unbreakable, its better than a shock flyer, but still gets a little tatty around the edges. I've had this one for about 3 months and prop hang / torque roll it in my single garage, Personally I don't think you'll find a better 3D model!

If your not crashing...
your not flying enough!! It comes with the hobby. I had two this past weekend. No big deal! They are both fixed and fly perfect. My fault on both of them. 20 minutes apart. I'm trying new things and learning the hard way. But it comes with the sport. All I can say is remember what you did and learn from it. Even the best still crash!!!!!!

Here for a good time, not a long time!
