Hello,

Last Saturday, I did break-in on the engine of Evo50.
I was very lucky. Never thought it'd be this easy.
My taking time here on RR and reading threads really pay off.
Thanks all.

The engine started off so smoothly, after just a few turns by the starter.
2 turns at first and 1 1/2 turn there after on the needle seemed fine.
I burnt a few tanks of CP30%.

I've found a good place for hovering and will go hovering this weekend.
So I'm practicing my sim with my 9303 radio(somehow I don't get full RPM whenever 9303 is hooked up).

On the sim, I can do nose-in hover, stall-turn, roof, roll. However, I'll take
small steps. I like this fresh problem-free Evo and intend to keep it that way...long long time...

Does any one have any suggestions for pre-flight check?

Many thanks in advance.

Hyper
I too have a Hyper. It's not broken in yet because I don't fly my 50 's much. With the limited exposure I 've had, it's going to be a good motor.

Yo'll have a great time with it. Enjoy

Make sure you got the freq pin! Battery charged rx & tx, make sure your tx is on the correct model, make sure all controls move the correct way, double check throttle is in low poistion with stick down. That's my routine, i double check the throttle is in low poistion because if i ever have a hot start with my gasser it's gonna be like wrestling with an aligator.

Never go full retard!

checking
Thanks a lot, I've found some bolts loosen up already.
Found the startter coupling playing around, gave it some
red locktite. Good thing I've checked this stuff out.

Already loosened? Make sure you attach the starter coupler to the flat part of the shaft. And use blue locktite on any metal to metal connections. Do not use blue locktite on the nylon nuts. There is also no need to use red loctite on any of the heli and it makes taking things off harder after a crash or maintenance.
