The company I work for has decided I'm better off
(employed) if I live in Colorado Springs. So, I'm looking
for a field and new friends to fly with.

Flying fields
There's a mostly airplane club on the east side of town. There are a few heli fliers also and the folks there were very friendly. I showed up on a Sunday, not knowing a soul. They let me fly as a guest for no charge and I spent another 2-3 hours talking to various members of the club. I got the directions from a hobby shop in town, and I'm sorry, but I can't remember now exactly where it was or the name. I got it out of the phone book and it wasn't hard to find the shop or the field. Be prepared for your heli to fly like a tank - the field is at ~7000' and my OS70 ran like a 30. Hope this helps. steve.

There was a field out near Black Forest (plank and heli), but thats been many years ago. Not sure if its still there or not. This may be the same one that Steve mentioned though.
You can always drive out here to the plains.....if you enjoy flying in the wind.

Walk on water long enough, eventually you will get your feet wet.
