I am going to get a remote glow extension for my Nexus and tower has 2 of em from Dubro. They are both the same model but one is for "recessed" glow plugs. Which would I need for my OS .32 SXH??

DBC remote ignitor
I wouldnt use either one of those, they are intended for airplane cowled engines, here's what you need for your Heli, and it works great.

If you go to Heliproz website, and go to online catalog, store directory, and then glow plugs, you'll see it there.

Ditto, I like the TT version the best, $5 at helihut.com

The metal cap type doesn't fit the A3 plug
The rubber cap type breaks over time (you can fix by attaching an alligator clip)

The mounts tend to snap over time, so I use a small landing gear damper to mount mine, maybe that will prevent it from snapping (I bend them at 45 degrees in the middle of the mount)

here is what i did
Dont get niether one of them
Take a clip (any kind that u find and can grab the glow plug's "spike" go to an electronic shop and find the one that suits u the most) and get an RCA female and male connector (get the good ones which will last forever) RCA is the type of connector u use in your stereo.
find some kind of a little metal plate with two holes one big enough for the RCA female and one for the engine mount screw u will connect it to (i used a metal plate which is used for connecting shelves to the wall).
Put the female RCA in the big hole and solder the inner pin of the female RCA to a wire which will connect to the glow plug's spike.
and then screw the metal plate with the female RCA to the engine mount with one of the engine mount's screws.
Thats it, it costs about 2$ and its easy to build and u dont have to wait for the delivery.
Ohhh make urself a rechargable battery pack and connect it to the MALE RCA plug and this will be ur new booster.
U can charge it with a regular 3V charger by soldering to the charger (which costs about 7$) a female RCA plug.
Its really simpler than it looks and it works great and its better than any remote plug ive ever seen or used.
I hope ill have a picture of it on my heli soon and ull see hoe simple and easy and good it is.

Just curious.. I also had a Nexus once and found the glow plug on this heli easy to get to, why do you want to put an extension on it. I used both a glow driver on my flight box and a clip on battery powered one.

Good luck with your Nexus (mine was a good heli),

Chuck
