congratulations to all the competitors !!!
my son and i were there all day today and it was an excellent day.

there was a side wind which gusted occasionally which sometimes caught even the masters by surprise.

the standard of flying was exceptional.

i was particularly amazed by jason krause's 2nd freestyle performance - it was definitely a 1st placing but curtis youngblood was unbeatable in the set manoeuvers. his accuracy and consistancy is second to none.

we, too, cannot wait until next year.

my commiserations go to dave sumner (?) who landed inverted.

it's a bit of a cliche but everyone who participated was a winner today !

i hope that in a couple of years i will be able to enter into the sportsman's competition.

many thanks.

hi there sluggo
scott gray came 4th and peter novotny came 5th.

i had a good chat with scott, he gave my 8 year old son his autograph and also drew a monogram of a heli underneath it.

scott also put in a good freestyle round which included cutting a ribbon after he flew underneath it - forwards, backwards and inverted.

he told me that he likes to burn a gallon of fuel a day before a competition !!! so cool to have a sponser !!! he's been sponsered by jr since he was 16 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
