I noticed today after switching to the 9CHP radio that when I hit the throttle hold switch the heli would climb about 5 or 6 feet before it started to fall. Should I make my throttle hold pith curve the same or close to my idle up curves since that is what I mostly fly in? I would like it to either stay at the same pitch when i hit the switch or even drop a litle bit instead.

The same...
If you haven't gone to 0deg at mid stick you should at this point. Then I would setup the ID1 and ID2 pitch curves to what you want to be top bottom and center. Then set you normal and T-hold. The mid stick and (IMO) point 4 should all match in all modes. Then adjust point 5 and points 1 and 2 in T-hold to your preference.
Hope that answered your question?
