The 9CA that Dazzler bought, is that the old version radio? Coz I believe the ones at Heli-Kraft are the new one that can be used with both airplanes and helis right?

BTW, Thanks for your respond cnsheets.

Layman,
The 9CA can be used with ALL 3 main types of R/C Model Aircraft i.e. Airplanes, Helicopters, and Gliders. The same goes for the 9CH. The only difference between the 9CA and 9CH (the A and H stand for Airplane and Helicopter) is Switches E and H are reversed on 9CH systems from where they are on a 9CA system and the 9CH has a smooth throttle transition while the 9CA has a ratchet on the throttle stick.

My 9CA is not OLD :-)
Layman, the 9CA I bought is for airplanes and Heli's, there is no old 9C, like Brc007 said the only difference in the 9CA, and the 9CH is switch location, and the ratcheted throttle which I removed. I think the 9CH comes with a 1100mah pack too. When I purchased my 9CA, I was only flying planes, once I started flying the Heli's the 9CA had no problem with it. But if you plan on flying Heli's, get the 9CH, that way you will get the bigger battery pack, and you wont have to take out the ratchet mechanism, which is easy to do anyway, Good luck. Daz...

Also the 9C is the easiest to program of any radio out there, you wont be disappointed.

I have one on the way (tx only) from Servo City for 259.95 shipping included. I don't know if they have whole sets, but I would imagine they do.
