HEY 3D MAN
Hey birthday boy, i think you should apologize to Kam, you've been everything but a jackass with him.
If the guy can't fly very well i think you should help him to improve not the opposite.
Where i am from we learn at a very young age to respect each other so please i am advising you to do the same thing.
Let me remain you that less than a year ago you were in your diapers
trying to learn and we helped you with your raptor.
see you
seb

I would only give a vendor a second change. If I order parts from shops within UK and they get dispatched same day they will always arrive the next. If I loose two weekends because the parts didn’t arrive in time I’ll find another shop that will send them out same day.

At the moment I am very pleased with Skyline. I phoned them this week and the guy (not sure if it was Bob or someone else) was checking stock availability of what I needed as I was telling him the part numbers. I didn’t even ask him to do that. Ok, they didn’t have everything in stock but I was told about it and thus I had they choice of how to proceed. If I wanted to, I could have ordered the missing parts from a different vendor if this could get me in the air in time.

Saying that the part is in stock and dispatching even a day later is no good. I believe that shops should stick to their word and if they say the package goes out today, the package must go out the same day. No excuse.

I think he should speak it and not really care too much what the rest of us say. I like reading his posts.

I am sorry if I got a little to aggressive. In our area we all tease each other. It’s all in good fun. We all need to realize that this is just a hobby. I’m just here to have fun. When you made the negative commit addressing me, I just responded.

Your helicopter was running very poorly. It seemed to shake. And it seemed the gyro was turned up a bit too much. In fast forward flight the tail would wag. When I go to an event, I expect the representatives of the company to have well assembled nice looking machines. You didn’t even bother to put stickers on the canopy. I did notice that you did some nice things with the helicopter; it just seemed your timing was off. It appeared that you had a lot of close calls. I guess I need to realize that you are not getting paid to do this as a profession. As a non-professional you did a great job. I guess my expectations were a little too high. At our home field we have some very good pilots that I am used to seeing fly. We are brutally honest, when we see a helicopter not running correct, we fix the problem. I hope my comments help you in the future. I would love to see you finish first next time.

Again, I am sorry for being a little too aggressive. I sincerely want you to improve. I guess I am not good at candy coating the truth or flying with sensitive people. Please accept my apology I will try harder in the future to be nice

I hope you know a lot about Tupperware, because you suck at flying. No Raptors in my fleet.
3DManA1, according to your profile you have a raptor with an OS32.

I don't think you understand what I was alluding to. I don't get into those types of pissing matches. Flying better than me is pretty easy and nothing to brag about. But he is standing outside the bar and insulting someone who had the balls to enter the bar. I don't understand the trash talk in the hobby. I know that element is in it. But to dog a guy and his setup while staying safely outside the arena is a bit cheesy no matter how good you are.

SemiArticulate, you do seem to like pissing matches. You have criticized me in the past about my ability. I have given you an open invitation to our field. I’m still here. At this time I have no interest in competing. I am not the one who started this pissing match about flying ability. I believe it was Kam. He criticized my flying never having seen me fly. This was probably not a good idea. I took a class called Logic in college. In this class you learn that there are correct ways to form arguments. Before starting an argument you need to know your facts.

SemiArticulate:

If you were to go to a movie, would you expect it to be good, or would you say “Oh well at least they tried.” I do have high expectations. I like to see good movies. Critics do have a place. Have you ever looked at the paper to see if there are any four star movies. Sorry, I don’t like to see bad movies. Now do you understand or do I need to use another analogy.

I am a very easy going. I am smiling as I write this. I see flying models as a fun little hobby. Some of you are way too serious. Well, I guess I better go to bed now, I have to work tomorrow.

Are you talking about the Freya Vs. Fury thread where you said that it was basically a newbie question and real pilots fly Furys? You may be right, I don't know. You got to understand that saying stuff like that and having a name of 3DMANA1 would make us expect that you are either full of it or you are the next CY. Except that CY never needs to walk around comparing lengths. I don't know why you would think that I would know you or your flying ability so when you talk your 'friendly' $hit I got to ask. You say your buddies talk like that all the time so I don't know why you feel defensive about anything I have said so far. Granted I am not familiar with any flying fields that act like that. This is the internet and a lot of people talk that crap without being able to even hover. I don't see the pros talking like that so I just assumed you were not a pro and were on your way to moderating RCU. So now knowing from context clues that you are a competent pilot I will now humbly bow before you and allow you to freely talk $hit about all those who do have the balls to compete without interference from us lesser heli pilots who would not dare talk $hit about any XFC contestant. God speed.

I always feel that we (anybody and everybody) take too little responsibility for the way in which we communicate. When you have to say that (I'm not directly quoting here) 'ppl get offended too easily', 'I didn't mean it like that', 'ppl take themselves too seriously', 'my dog doesn't complain when I yell at him', etc. I think you have failed to communicate effectively and generally are therefore responsible.

A wise man once told me that.. "The meaning of our communication is the response that we get."

Kinda adds a bit of responsibility to what we say huh....

Please, SemiArticulate get off your knees. This is embarrassing. At our field it’s not right to see a man on his knees in front of another. Wow, I guess I didn’t expect that. You are forgiven my son. Now, back to work in the fields. Live long and prosper.
