I'm the IT manager (Head Geek) for a group of newspapers. My job functions run from general client side firefighting to maintaining the servers on the LAN / WAN. I get to keep Windows, Mac, Unix and even OS/2 systems running. My daughter says that I "play with computers" all day.

Another "Pierce Pilot".
SweetP I love it!!!
Pierce Pilot (Firefighter/EMT/Hydro Mechanical Tech)
My Ride is a Dash and or a Wheeled Coach. Local F282 here.
Nice to see a few other "brothers" addicted to this hobby.
.
I can break anything.
Yes we can. The firehouse saying is. Give it to a firefighter we can break anything. I demonstrate that with my heli on a regular basis.

I also have a small buisness with my parents doing commercial embroidery. Lot's of fun and the techy side of my life. Then theres the part-time stuff...Driving fuel truck, motorcoaches (hey Mitch) and the mothers day greenhouse truck.....Yep I'm busy.

I also have dabbled in full scale. I hold a PP SEL and have enough time in rotary for my ticket, but no funds. I am accepting donations though.

Been doing R/C since I was about 14 and helis for almost 2 years now

I'm a police detective.

I find that this hobby allowed me to take my problem solving abilities to a greater height. As well as it takes my mind away from all BS the comes with this job, due to the amount of consentration you have to have to fly. Thats why I enjoy my flying time

To all, be safe.

Well, 47 year old Jack of all Trades here. I've been an auto mechanic, draftsman, tool desiginer, machinest, reliability test technician for a major fork truck company, GC inspector, residential A/C technician, I've worked for the NYC Subway system as a A/C installer/tech,( they do have rats that are 2 foot + long in NYC, you see a different perspective of NYC from under a subway car). I'm presently self employed, have a door to door automotive repair service, I do tune-ups, LOF, tires, etc. on site. I started out in helis back in '86 with GMP Cobras, (I still fly them), Totally addicated to this sport, for me it is 50% the heli, and 50% the people that are part of it, I enjoy both.....Coop

Well, by the looks I'm the first teacher to raise their hand. I teach primary school, what Americans would call elementary school, though next year I might be teaching secondary school.

I have a major in computer science and sometimes sideline in repairs, tutoring and web design.

And don't go checking my post for spelling/grammar mistakes now you know what I do.

I am a machinest,Cnc programer,Cad/cam, and a model maker for prototype parts. Then when I get home I make upgrades for my favorite hobby. It is alot of fun and we have met alot of great people! I am Kevin (the K)and my wife Becky (the B) we both enjoy working and making parts for all the nice people that enjoy the hobby too. The bonus is my wife who actually encourages me to buy more heli's!!

Kevin & Becky
P.S. Becky now does this full time to help me keep up with it.
