What does your pitch curve look like? any spikes in the curve? after all - any servo will follow what it is being told to do by the transmitter. FM or PCM should have nothing to do with your servo travel.

The pitch curve is linear, no spikes.
I am really not looking for advice from non
9Z users or speculation please!
This is a 9Z specific issue.

I'm using an 8417 as pitch on my SE.

9Z tx with PCM, no problem, but servo is reversed compared to
any futaba servo

It was the PCM vs. FM issue.
I borrowed a PCM rx today and all is fine.
Moral of the story:
DONT USE JR DIGITAL SERVOS ON FM WITH FUTABA.
