Well i was screwing around with my radio and powerinng a light bulb trhough the charge jack when the bulb stopped working. When the radio would not turn on again i knew what the problem was. Unfortunately i had to replace my 3A fuse for a 2.5 A one i had in a field charger. My question is, will this cause any problems? To the best of my knowledge the radio uses only 200ma and a quick charger does not go above 1A. I actually feel better with the lower rating fuse. Input is welcomed plus i'm asking for it

Although the 2.5 amp fuse should'nt cause any problems, I'd stick with the 3 amp. you would'nt want the radio to die on you when you least expect it. Also, make sure the fuse is the correct type, i.e. slow-blo or quick. Another suggestion--stop screwing around with your radio. What where you thinking?

Tim.

Victor as you may or may not be aware. I am an electronics tech. Mark is an electrician. I always have a cordless soldering iron in my toolkit.
