Hey does anyone have any advice or the Shuttle Z-TS manual on fitting the tail belt onto the shuttle. I bought a zts without its manual.
If anyone has one could they scan it in and post it on here.
Any advice would be great. It looks complicated!!!!!

I have a shuttle ZXX, it's close enough to the ZTS.

What exactly do you want to know?

if the belt is already hooked up in the tail gearbox, then you must rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise (if you could see it down the boom from the back) and connect it to the drive. in the back, the Tr pitch lever has to go in the area between the top and bottom of the belt.

the best way to the the belt through the boom is to take a hook with string, or make a hook out of wire that is smaller than the diameter of the boom, and just pull it through. Then tighten it up by changing how far the boom goes into the frames at the front. Remember to align the notches so that the TR and frames are exactly in line.

I don't have a working scanner just yet, so this is the best i can do.

Basically, you have to set it up so that the Tr is going CCW (looking from the right side) to counter the main rotor torque. isn't there a manual on the hirobo website?

hope this helps. I'l see what i can do with the new uninstalled scanner.

what cog? you mean onto the start shaft pully?

All the instructions are shown on the site - pretty much identical to my manual, except that mine is in a slightly different order.
