I broke my clutch on my 30-SR

after looking at teh broken pieces i can see only a little bit of the arm (maybe 30%) touches the actual liner....[break]

see pic, does this mean i have too much clearance or is it just that it was time for it to go out because it was just worn out, it seems that it's been in the ehli for quitte a shile as the surface where it touches the liner is realy polished...

i as of now still have about 1mm clearance between the clutch and the liner , and i got an brand new liner and new clutch in it....

With a new liner and a new clutch, you should be fine. I don't remember exactly how much clearance you need but it isn't very much.

I broke a couple of clutches too. In my case, it was caused by worn sleeve bearings. You should have two ball bearings to support the clutch housing.
