Hi,
I have just purchase a FMS CD with JR USB connector from ebay. It says that this version of FMS is compatitable with Win XP. However when I try to fly FMS using my JR 388, there is no connection with the computer.

The device manager said that the device cannot be open at COM 4.

Any advice?

Com4 != USB
I guess the part you when wrong is where you are trying to use Com4 instead of USB. Usb port is something totally different then Com. Try to mark joystick as input, might work.
