Can the modules be used with the 8U and the 9C? The look really nice and sure are a ton cheaper than the ones futaba makes (they are $80).

Thanks for your comments guys.

Max - it sounds like you're asking if the 8 PACK can be used in both an 8U and 9C (transfering it between radios). The answer is no - if you put the 8 PACK in your 8U and configure it, then put in your 9C, it'll ask you if you want to reinitialize it. It would then be configured for the 9C (and any data would be erased).

Dwayne - I was wondering why I got a sudden stream of orders from VA, MD, and DC! Thanks for spreading the word.

Regards,
Chris Hansen

Kym,

A few people have asked me about using it in a 9z. I've never tried it (I don't have a 9z), but my answer is, "maybe". If does work, it would probably only give you storage space for two models. If I ever get my hands on a 9z I'll try it out.

Thanks for your interest,
Chris Hansen

I would email Chris Hansen and see if he could give you some kind of a refund or something. That stinks that they dont work.... I wonder how much Futaba sells 9Z modules for. I wouldnt even want to think about it.

Hi Kym,

So now we all know that it doesn't work in the 9z . I can take it back if you want, or I'm sure you wouldn't have trouble selling it. Just let me know.
