Hey,
Does anyone know of a good way to strip paint off of a raptor canopy, without any sanding? I have only tried paint thinner so far, and it's not working to well. I would like to have something I can just spray on & wipe off. Any suggestions????
Thanks,
Woody

Acetone
Go to your hardware store and buy some Acetone. Spray it on with a spray bottle and let it sit. Do it again and again until the paint wrinkles up good.

Then take a putty knife or butter knife and scrape it off. Takes some time but it will clean right up. Trust me, I had to redo my paint job 3 times doing this.

Don't know if it is the best way but it sure worked well.

Paint Stripper
I bought a can of spray stripper from K-Mart that was about $5.00. Sprayed it on and the paint just started jumping off! Took about 5 minutes and I was done. It is Parks Extra Strength Pro Stripper. Wiped off paint with rags and waterhose.

Thanks,
For paint not being supposed to stick to a raptor canopy, that stuff is on there! (except where it hit the tree!)
