ok i have an rappy 30. jr8103, gy 410 combo on hh mode, etc................................
had the gyro sensitivity lead to the gear/gyro channel as normal, but decided to try the inverted flight switch out so when you activate it there is conflict with the gyro. it goes to non hh mode, so the sensitivty lead got switched to aux 2, using mix made it always on (aux2 >aux2 both at 100) and set it with the atv that the gear/gyro channel had. throttle hold still works as before, the gyro is on on all flight modes even inverted. does anyone forsee a problem with that set up. going to fly after work just want to get a heads up. thanks.

I believe you shouldn't need a mix for the aux 2 switch. Set the gain to 75-80 % for your HH mode at the top switch position and 25-30% for your non-HH mode at the lower switch position and put the switch wherever you want it! If you have a mix so that aux 2 cannot be switched out of HH (ACVS) then you won't be able to reset the center point on the gyro ( the flip the switch 3 times trick...) if you need to make an adjustment! I have 3 new pilots I'm helping with 3 Scoobies with 401's and 8103's and they're all set up the same; aux 2 for HH/nonHH. The reason your 401 went to non HH in the aux 3 slot is your automatic gyro gain system is enabled and the values for idle up 1-2 are different than the setting for normal mode! Hope this helps you. Chris

Yank&bank, why did you use the gear sw. for HH gain? The manual shows that you use ch7 for aux gain then you can use the TX gain setup look in your JR manual under this and forget what the Futaba install sheet says its generic only to futaba and wont show a JR install. If you setup this way there will be no conflicts but IMHO you should can the invert sw. idea anyway and teach your brain to do it without even considering using the sw. You will be better off in the long run.........
