What is there to do and see at this show. Is it mostly a show of the new stuff from the RC companies or is there any flying? Is it just helicopter stuff or airplanes and cars too?

Did you take a look at the URL Mark posted? It should answer all your questions?

i had to go to toledo the week before the show last year.

i will be in toledo the week before the show this year

when am i going to be able to go to toledo during the show?

i did get to the show about 15 years ago. my son wanted to go with me, he was 2. unfortunately, he only lasted about 1/2 hour and wanted to leave.

it is the granddaddy of all hobby shows. if you have an opportunity to make it, don't miss it.

I know there will be an electric plane fly-in, but will there be any place to fly helis (e or nitro) at/around the show? Thanks!

Representation
I attended today, as I have the last 5 years. There is still not enough heli representation. I wished folks like Heliproz, Ricks, and many other fine companies would come to this show. Pete always does a good job with parts there, but he is about the only company there selling replacement parts for Raptors.
I only actually saw 1 company selling new Raptors, and they didn't have a 50SE. There may have been others, but if there was it wasn't obvious. But at least Jerry Conley is always there to take care of us on our fuel needs. I fly both planks and helis, and the ratio is about 500:1 / airplane items versus heli items at this show.

That's Sad!

It's been years since I went, but MA (Tim and Ted with Dad) alway's was there. I use to see Robert Gorham walking around too! That was the Good old Day's! It's to bad because it's a good Show!

Dude!?!?!!? Where were you at?

Nearly all the Major Heli Manufactures were there! And the Key Reps or Owners for those companys were there.

TT, MA, Centruy, Hirobo, Raves, Ikaras, RCHelis Plus, Radio South, Slimline, MS Composit, Drualite, JR, Futaba, Airtornics, Hitec, Wildcat, Klotz, Richs brew, powermaster, hacker, castle creations, boca, os, ys, hatori, were all there with bells on!

That is what the show it all about... The swap meet was upstairs, with 3 or 4 hobby shops there with their wares.

I was there for all 3 days, and had a blast!

You MUST have gone somewhere else!

Sorry Jetmo, My response was more so directed at Skyking1's post about there not being much heli representation. If you read that, you should have easily realized that it was not directed at you. sorry if you got confused.

LOL Brett... you are right....
