Did some testing on my H2 to measure peak thrust of the Himax 4015-4100 and AC1215/16. Both on 12t pinions and fresh TP1320 packs. I taped the heli to a scale and hit zero, and then measured how much 'weight' the heli could generate on the negative pitch side. The Himax would do 740-750g, and the AC1215/16 was the clear winner at 790-800g.
Speed controller on both was a PHX-10 in high advance. On the Himax motor, there seemed to be no difference between standard and high advance, but on the AC1215/16 there seemed to be a consistant 10-20g difference.
Oh ya, blades used are weighted MS Composit.
Anyone else tried a test like this? I'd like to see a measured comparison between a Hacker B20-22s and the AXI 2208/20.
