Has anyone tried a hacker b40 series in the trex? If so, please reply....I have a 13s NIB (3277kv) that i found in the garage and its screeming to power something (trex with xl kit)....I know its on the heavy side , but........

You must be kidding - the B40 would not fit inside the TREX

We are using motors that have a diameter of approximately 20mm

Here is a picture of my T-Rex with a B40-15s. This motor has 2800kv so I ran 4s with it. Blades spin at 2600 RPM, flies great. But battery is a bit warmer than I like, so it's probably drawing too much amps.

That motor might just work with 3s TP2100. Keep us posted.

Unreal - it's so big - 1lb 10oz, ouch! But no doubt a B40 can handle it
