At least here almost every parcel from the US gets stung with VAT and custom fees.
No that common on parcels from Asia

You should email Ricks and ask them what their policy is.

Dealers from the states declare exactly whats in the box to the the $ however when you order from the far east there is confusion between US $ and HK$ and the price may not be exactly the worth of "Toy helicopter parts" in the box.

The smaller the box then less the charge I have found as Servo's receivers, come direct to your door by the post office however a kit sized box goes through parcel force where the declaration by the dealer is what the import tax is calculated and you will be requested to pay on the doorstep the value declared.

Most I have paid for a fully kitted out Fury with Engine blades and electronics was £35.

Normally for samll items like servo's its nothing.

Sorry Flaming forgot to answer your question directly

Yes you will probably be charged import duty when buying from any dealer in the States.

In my experiance, everything imported from the USA will get hit
I never get hit with small packages from the USA... then again, they will work with you if you ask nicely ($35 or less value is free to import down here)

Cheers,

Rich
