as above, i changed all my ball links after a crash just in case. i got the red K&S links. they seem to be as tight as new thunder tiger ones. logical to think the links on the head would free up after afew flights, but currently the ones on the pitch up(elevator and aileron links) won't seem to be able to free up after a few flights. it seems the elevator is straining so much that it is flexing the pitch arm where they're connected

JR make a ball link resizing tool which will do the job.

Other methods are to continually squeeze the links about gently with pliers and work them in that way whilst they are on the ball. Also you can mount a ball into a dremel tool clip the link over the ball and then operate the dremel. Careful as this will very quickly work the link in.

i like the jr tool , or use a dremmel cutoff tool to cut a few slots into an extra ball and then screw and CA it to a small piece of hardwood , i found that the plier technique is a good way to fracture the link and ruin the ball , can you say >new swash< trying to run the links in when that are that tight by flying is hard on everything and if the links are bending they are way to tight , there is a real risk of stripping a set of servo gears and if its flying it could be bad
