You poor bastard.

There is no Hell; there is only France.

I hear that in France, the transmitters want
to take the entire summer off

Hi,

You can also use 72.210 to 72.490 by 20 KHz steps (that is channels 21 to 35)

hope you'll enjoy

Hi,

unfortunately you won't be able to use 35 MHz, as this frequency band is already heavily used in France (people working on roads for example, don't know the generic term for that in english )

You can use a subpart of the 72 megs low band frequency (channels 21 to 35, i.e. frequency 72.210 to 72.490).

regards

Julien

I`ve been flying in france a few summers and no problems at all at 35 Mhz.... but I've been told it's a military frequency, but even though I was flying less than a mile away from the nearest military installation (one with a lot of radio disks and antenna`s and stuff... ) I never had any problems.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Rich

ps. this was on top of a mountain (airport Domme, near the dordogne) so you may experience something different when flying near Paris or another big city.

well, actually it seems to me that it's been 2 or 3 years that 35MHz was to be granted "in the next few month"

did somebody say "heavy administration" ??
