Ive cut away the bit at the top of the connector off the gyro, so it will fit into my reciever(JR).
Do I have to switch any of the wires to change the polarity for it to work?

After plugging in the battery and switching on all the servos moved then stopped. The transmitter would not move anything. I havent charged the battery pack yet so im hoping there just wasnt enough power to drive the servos.

Thanks

I've been using Futaba gyros with my JR equipment for years. No compatibility issues whatsoever.....

Charge your battery.....

You just have to carefully whack off the polarizing tab on the Futaba plugs to use it with JR stuff. When you plug the stuff together, the JR brown wire maps to the Futaba Black wire, the JR Orange wire maps to Futaba's white wire, and the JR red wire maps to the Futaba red wire.

If you plug them together backwards, it won't work, but it won't damage anything, either.

Also, check to make sure your transmitter is pumping out some RF that your receiver understands. If your receiver is plain old ppm, make sure the transpiter is set to ppm. Sometimes I've found my self in a hurry and have overlooked the obvious..........and have done so more than once Oh, one other thing. Make sure the connector is pushed all the way into the receiver.

There, their and they're. It's really that simple.
