I have completed my Hornet II and I have a JR 700 reciever and would like to use it but if there is a lighter weight and not too expensive reciever that is seven channel....I would like to know what it is. i am thinking of taking the plastic case off of the 700 and use some Monocoat and make covering with that.

Most guys fly with the Berg. I personally like the FMA receivers. I use the Quantum 6 in my HII. I like the dual conversion and have not experienced many glitches. FMA also makes a 8 ch version. I'm not sure as to how heavy the JR 700 is. The Quantums are around 14 g.

Hi,
I use Schulze alpha 835, the best rx I had
on my Hornet so far and it weights around
10g with removed case.

Hey guys....thanks for the info! Hopefully tonight when I get off work, I can get this little heli finished! I have to plug everything in and program my radio. Brand new head hold gyro CSM SL420. Never heard of it....but it seems awesome. I am going with my JR 700 because I need the gear channel, the gain is plugged in that for the head hold feature work properly. So....I am excited and a little nervous! It seems very fragile. Hope all goes well!
