If you can't get bearing maybe give the bush a go but keep a vary close eye on it as it is a very high rpm part! Personaly I would not risk the bush but it may solve your problem in the short term.

I don't think a new tail pitch thingy is much to buy complete and I believe the raptor 60 tail is the same or very similar to the 30 so..

A raptor 30/ 50 / 60 tail pitch controll slider bearings should fit at little cost but you may have to buy the whole pitch slider with bearings. The dimensions of the bearings are d6mm D10mm X 3.

Hope this helps - let us know if you try the bush!

Ok

I'm confused a little too as...

I have just scoured the raptor 60 manual and cannot find a PV number for the bearings however thay are listed as HMV1060. Perhaps the info is in the manua but I am going blind.

In any case I have a couple of old bearings which should fit. I think they are out of a shuttle or baron 30 tail pitch slider. Many helicopters have the same size bearing in this area so maybe you can scrounge one off someone who has had lots of machines and still has some spares lying arround collecting dust (like me).

If you really get desperate let me know. ( for the bearing that is)

The Tail Pitch Control LEVER on all flavors of Raptor uses two of the 4x7x2.5 bearings. Part # PV0176 consists of two of these bearings.

The Tail Pitch Control SLIDER on all flavors of Raptor uses two of the 6x10x3 bearings. Part # PV0052 consists of two of these bearings.

You're right - it is listed for the R60. But the R30, 50, 60, and 90 all use the same HMV740ZZ (d4xD7xW2.5) bearing on the pitch control lever.
